In today’s world, where technology has become a driving force for success, stories like that of MD Nowshad Islam, better known as Adven Shad, stand out as truly inspiring. Born in October 2003, in a middle-class family in a village of Bangladesh, Nowshad’s journey from a curious teenager to a successful web application developer and entrepreneur is a tale of determination, passion, and resilience.
At just 22 years old in 2025, he has already founded multiple IT-based companies, including TourIVers, NeveRent, and several other innovative projects. His story proves that with the right mindset and dedication, even a young boy with zero knowledge and limited resources can achieve great things.
Early Life and First Steps into Technology
Growing up in a village in Bangladesh, opportunities in technology were scarce. Most young people around him were focused on becoming doctors, engineers, or following traditional career paths. But Nowshad was different. He always dreamed of earning money in unconventional ways — even imagining a life where he could earn while sleeping.
At the age of 14, after completing his JSC board exam, Nowshad received his very first Android smartphone. Before that, he had only used keypad phones to access Facebook, which was more about texting than voice calls, since messenger apps were not available on such devices. Getting that first Android device was a turning point in his life.
He began exploring social media, connecting with both real and virtual friends, and soon grew curious about how Facebook was built. Questions like “Who created Facebook?” and “How do apps work?” sparked a new curiosity inside him. For many in his village, the idea that humans could create apps and publish them on the Play Store was unheard of. But Nowshad decided to learn more.
A Curious Teenager Becomes a Self-Learner
Coming from a middle-class family, Nowshad had no access to expensive devices or mentors. He started from scratch with zero knowledge of IT. His first research began on Google and YouTube, where he discovered that Mark Zuckerberg had created Facebook. This simple fact inspired him to believe that he too could build apps someday.
He found drag-and-drop app builders online and began practicing with tutorials on his low-end Android phone. This was not easy — a simple 10-minute tutorial often took him more than an hour to practice because of how slow and laggy his device was. But his determination was stronger than the obstacles.
One of the first apps he built was a simple browser app called “Google Nowshad.” While it might sound funny now, this little project became a milestone for him. From that app, he earned his first-ever $1 online — a small amount, but a huge achievement for a teenager from a Bangladeshi village.
Breaking Boundaries with Technology
As his knowledge grew, Nowshad continued to practice every day, often spending 10 to 16 hours experimenting with coding, app development, and design. In class 10, he finally got his first laptop, which gave him more power to explore advanced tools.
He was so committed to his journey that he even took bold decisions with his academics. After completing his JSC, he skipped the SSC board exam for one year, choosing instead to focus entirely on technology. He believed that self-earning and self-learning were more important than depending on family money or traditional education.
His dedication started to pay off. By the age of 17–18, some of his apps were live on the Google Play Store and began generating revenue. Even today, those apps continue to provide him with passive income, fulfilling his once “impossible” dream of earning money while sleeping.
Building TourIVers and Other Projects
Among his many projects, the most remarkable is TourIVers, which he proudly calls the world’s first esports platform. This platform gained significant popularity in Bangladesh and even trended on the Google Play Store. Alongside this, he also founded NeveRent and other IT-based startups, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and love for solving real-world problems with technology.
As the CEO of multiple ventures, Nowshad has proven himself not only as a developer but also as a visionary leader. His projects combine his passion for gaming, technology, and innovation — three areas that have shaped his personal and professional life.
Life, Vision, and Philosophy
Despite his early successes, Nowshad remains grounded. Coming from a simple background and being known as a backbencher during school days, he has always believed in practical learning over theoretical knowledge.
After completing his HSC board exam, he took another two-year gap to focus entirely on his career, pausing his academic journey once again. For him, academic certificates do not define success — skills, creativity, and the ability to solve problems do. Still, he values education and plans to continue his studies.
The Legacy of Adven Shad
Today, at 22, Adven Shad is more than just a developer — he is a role model for young dreamers in Bangladesh and beyond. From building apps on a low-end Android phone to running multiple companies, his journey is proof that passion and perseverance can overcome any obstacle.
He continues to inspire young people to think differently, chase their dreams, and never stop learning. His life stands as a reminder that success is not about where you come from but about where you want to go.
