Early Life and Family

Radha Yadav was born prematurely in the seventh month in Kandivali (West), Mumbai. Her family lived in a small 225 sq. ft. home behind her father’s vegetable stall, operating under Mumbai’s Slum Redevelopment Area scheme. Her father, Omprakash Yadav, originally from Uttar Pradesh, worked hard to support the family, while her mother provided emotional and practical support at home.

Radha grew up with two elder brothers (Deepak and Rahul) and an elder sister (Sonee), all of whom supported her cricket ambitions. Despite financial challenges, her family and coach Prafful Naik encouraged her cricketing talent from a young age, helping her progress from neighborhood games to professional training.
