Contained power and a camera that stands out
Coming with 4G implies less power, although not too much age: this Realme 12 4G starts with a Snapdragon 685 , a SoC from just over a year ago. It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and two storage versions, quite spacious: 256 GB or 512 GB. It does not have SD memory expansion, although it does allow you to double the RAM with another 8 GB virtual (stolen from storage).
Up front, the Realme 12 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The maximum brightness for HDR content is 2,000 nits. And this display has a hole for the front camera: the sensor located underneath reaches 16 megapixels.
At the back, the Realme 12 leaves aside the frills to equip a dual camera with a main one that points the way: the equipped sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 with a mechanically stabilized lens (OIS) . The secondary is limited to a monochrome sensor to improve the portrait effect.
In addition to the above, the Realme 12 is updated to Android 14 with version 5.0 of Realme UI, includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging (the 80 W charger is in the box), has a dual stereo speaker and appears certified with IP52.
Realme 12 4G price and availability
The phone will arrive in Spain and will be available during Amazon Prime Day on July 16 and 17. On those days, the Realme 12 4G will be reduced to 189.99 euros. Outside of the launch, the prices are:
- Realme 12 8/256 GB . €249.99. From July 18 to July 31 it will cost €199.99.
- Realme 12 8/512 GB . 299 euros. From July 18 to 31 it will be at 279 euros at MediaMarkt.
